The objective of Two Lochs Radio is to offer residents of the Gairloch, Loch
Ewe and Loch Maree areas the choice of a community-based radio station comprising
a mixture of music and speech, with a distinctive local character, providing
local information, news and features. The music played is a mix of contemporary
popular, specialist (e.g. Scottish, Celtic, folk, reggae, country) and popular
gold generally spanning the last half century.
As a volunteer station manned by local people, catering for people living within
the area is a priority. Local What's On, weather and news feature strongly in
our main morning and evening programmes, serving the needs of residents and
visitors in this beautiful, remote part of Wester Ross.
The station is operated by a non-profit company and registered charity, Wester Ross Radio Ltd, which
has membership open to all individuals and businesses with an interest in promoting
a local radio service for public benefit in this area.
Other general information about the station is available in our Public
